Junior Pilates Teacher
My Pilates journey began online during Lockdown. I enjoyed it as a form of mindful movement yet it required a certain strength that I hadn’t accessed before doing weights in the gym. This mindfulness aspect was something I found incredibly therapeutic and grounding, changing my mindset from working out to burn calories to moving my body in a challenging way while caring for it.
I decided to embark on teacher training to continue gaining a deeper understanding of Pilates, not just the correct technique of the exercises but how it strengthens and brings the body into balance. I have found a new sense of respect for my body and what it is truly capable of and I want to help others realise and appreciate this too.The combination of the teacher training with Everybody Pilates and having Karen as my mentor has led me to experience Pilates in a whole new way. Both Everybody Pilates and Pilates From Within provide a supportive and encouraging learning environment which helps me feel confident and motivated to grow both as a student and a teacher.
My teaching style is centered around helping others with achieving not only their physical goals but also developing a deeper connection with their body, breath, and mind whilst finding enjoyment and confidence through their Pilates journey.
